About the Composer...
Dr. Stephen J. Grieco is a distinguished composer and music educator with over 25 years of executive leadership experience. He currently serves as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs. Dr. Grieco holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree and has served in various high-level academic roles, including Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs, Chief Administrative Officer, Dean of Arts & Humanities, and Music Department Chair. At Cabrini University, he was a tenured faculty member and the creator and leader of the Music Industry Bachelor's degree program.
As a composer and educator, Dr. Grieco's works have been recorded, published, and performed across Europe and the United States. His music has earned prestigious awards from organizations such as the North American Artist Foundation, Pro Musica, Cleveland Chamber Symphony, and the Contemporary Music Society. He has been invited as a guest composer and lecturer at numerous national conferences, colleges, and universities, including the Arizona Music Educators Association, New York University, Ball State University, and the University of Arizona.
Dr. Grieco's academic credentials include a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Music Composition from Arizona State University, a Master of Music degree in Composition from Bowling Green State University, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Composition from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
